🌐 DNS Lookup

See all the main DNS records for a domain on one screen. Useful when setting up email, moving a website or fixing domain redirects.

What next?

What the DNS record types do

A / AAAA: the domain's IPv4 / IPv6 address. CNAME: points one name to another (for example www → the main domain). MX: which servers receive the domain's email. TXT: text records such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC and Google or Microsoft verification codes. NS: which DNS provider manages the domain. CAA: which certificate authorities may issue SSL certificates.

Why SPF and DMARC matter

SPF lists the servers allowed to send email for your domain; DMARC tells receivers what to do with messages that fail SPF or DKIM. Without them your email may land in spam and others can spoof your domain.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the record's TTL: usually minutes to a few hours, and at most about 48 hours.

How do I check MX records?

Enter the domain and choose MX as the record type. Mail servers are listed with their priority values.
